Thank you for your interest in raising money for Lunch4Learning. We have a number of ideas to get you going: from auctions to sponsored fun runs, from baking to organising concerts, from jumble sales to an Elton John night, there’s bound to be something for you. You could organise or participate in an event with your family and friends and, at the same time, raise awareness about Lunch4Learning's work.
Apart from being tremendous fun and an opportunity to meet like-minded people, raising money for charity can also be a personally rewarding experience. And remember that when you are organising a Lunch4Learning fundraising event, you will be changing the lives of people who live in extreme poverty, giving them a real chance to make their way out of poverty by improving their educational opportunities.
We have lots of great fundraising ideas for you and will provide you with the help you will need to promote your event. Whether you choose sponsored ballroom dancing lessons, a jumble sale, a 24 hour famine, or something completely whacky and unique to you – you’ll be making a better world for people in extreme need.
So, come on – do something different today! Whatever you decide to do, you can be sure to be helping to make a better world for young children in real need.
You could run: Marathons, ½ Marathons, Triathlons, Fun Runs or simply go for a hike.
You could play: tennis, golf, cricket, 5-a-side football or croquet.
You could organise: a Sports Day, a Bring-and-Buy Sale, an Auction, a Toy Sale, a jumble sale, a Cup Cake Weekend, a concert afternoon, a karaoke evening, a quiz night or a ‘Shave a Scalp’ day.
You can use your home: as a temporary gallery, for a ‘Come Dine with Me’ evening, a Games Night or to celebrate a birthday.
Once you have decided to proceed with organising an event, please ensure you register this with us via our Contact Us page.
Whilst we continue to develop these pages, we will send you a CD by post but we hope to have this available as a download very soon. In the meantime, you can download the Sponsorship Form here.
